Aisling was born in Dublin. She holds a BA in English, Sociology and Politics from NUI Galway and an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature from University College Dublin. Her short stories have been longlisted and shortlisted for many prizes. In 2020, ‘Lump’ was shortlisted for the Bridport Short Story Prize and the Fish Short Story Prize and ‘Smash’ was published in The Galway Review. She is currently working on her debut novel. Aisling lives in south-east Ireland and works in domestic violence support services.
