Hanna is from the UK and lives in Brighton. Having trained as a costume maker at RADA, she has worked in the London theatre and film costume industry for several years. She holds an MA in Japanese Studies from SOAS and is currently studying for a Creative and Critical Writing PhD at the University of Sussex. Her research interests are synaesthesia, psychogeography, trauma and autofiction. She was longlisted for a Bath Flash Fiction award in 2017 and was a joint winner of the Bridge Award for Emerging Writer in 2018. Hanna is working on her debut novel.
