Henneh Kyereh Kwaku is from Drobo/Gonasua in the Bono Region of Ghana. He holds an MA in Health Education from the University of Cape Coast and an MFA in Creative Writing from Chapman University. His scholarly work explores the intersection of art, literature, and health. He is a Library of Africa and the African Diaspora (LOATAD) alum and has received fellowships from Chapman University. He is the founder and host of the Church of Poetry podcast and The Art and Health Show. A chapbook, Revolution of the Scavengers, was published by African Poetry Book Fund and Akashic Books in 2020. His poems and essays have appeared in numerous publications including the Academy of American Poets’ A-Poem-A-Day, Poetry Magazine, Prairie Schooner, World Literature Today, Air/Light Magazine, Tupelo Quarterly, Poetry Society of America, Lolwe, Agbowó, Olongo Africa and 20:35 Africa. He has completed a debut collection of poetry entitled Fissure.
