Noby Leong is a food and science communicator. He was born in Malaysia and raised in Australia, where he gained a PhD in chemistry from the University of Adelaide. He now lives in Glasgow. Noby has featured in a range of print, web, radio and television outlets including Scientific American, BBC Radio Scotland, ABC Radio and Triple J. Noby has also co-hosted two food science documentaries, Feeding Australia and How Food Works (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), and featured on The Chefs’ Line (Netflix). Noby was runner-up in the 2021 Yan Kit So Memorial Award, which celebrates food writing on Asia. He is currently working on a cookbook celebrating his Malaysian heritage.
